Initial Finds LLC (“Initial Finds,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Initial Finds at https://initialfinds.com and related pages, tools, forms, newsletters, courses, applications, and booking experiences (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, the services that help us operate, and the choices available to you.
By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described here. Where consent is required, we ask for it before loading optional analytics or advertising technologies.
Information You Choose to Provide
We may collect information you submit when you:
- subscribe to FOUND or another email resource;
- complete an application, contact form, questionnaire, or inquiry;
- book a consultation, coaching session, or workshop;
- purchase or access a course, service, or digital product; or
- communicate with us directly.
Depending on the interaction, this may include your name, email address, answers you submit, scheduling preferences, purchase and enrollment information, and the contents of your message. Please do not submit sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for the service you are requesting.
Interactive Tools and Private Reflections
Initial Finds offers interactive tools such as maps, labs, and guided reflection exercises. Unless a tool clearly tells you otherwise or you explicitly submit information through a connected form, the answers you enter into these tools remain in your browser session and are not sent to or stored by Initial Finds.
Initial Finds Tools. The interactive tools on this site run in your browser, and your answers are not stored. If you choose “Email me my result,” we use the address you enter to send that one email through our Google Workspace account, and we don’t keep it. If you also tick “Also start the free 180° Reset guide,” we add your address to our email provider, Kit, so we can send the guide; you can unsubscribe at any time. We also count, per tool and per day, how many times each tool is opened, finished, and so on. These counts contain no answers, names, email addresses, or IP addresses.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Service, our website and service providers may process technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, approximate geographic region, and interactions with the Service. Some of this information is required to deliver and secure the website. Optional analytics and advertising technologies are controlled through our cookie-consent system.
Cookies and Consent Choices
Cookies and similar technologies help websites remember preferences, provide features, measure use, and support marketing. Initial Finds separates these technologies into categories:
- Strictly necessary: required for the website and consent controls to function.
- Functionality: supports optional site features and preferences.
- Tracking and performance: helps us understand visits and improve the Service, including Google Analytics 4.
- Targeting and advertising: supports advertising measurement, including the Meta Pixel.
Optional tracking and advertising technologies do not load until you make the corresponding choice. You may accept, decline, or change your choices at any time by selecting Update cookies preferences in the website footer. Browser settings may also let you block or delete cookies, although some functionality may be affected.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
- deliver requested resources, newsletters, courses, services, and support;
- review applications and arrange bookings;
- process purchases and maintain transaction records;
- understand which pages, tools, and resources are useful;
- communicate about your account, purchase, booking, or request;
- send marketing email when you have subscribed, with an unsubscribe option in each message;
- prevent misuse, diagnose technical problems, and enforce our terms; and
- meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
Where applicable, our legal bases may include your consent, performance of a contract or steps you request before a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, and compliance with legal obligations.
Service Providers
We use third-party providers to perform specific functions on our behalf. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies and may include:
- Google Analytics 4 for consent-based website and tool-usage measurement;
- Meta Pixel for consent-based advertising measurement;
- TermsFeed for cookie-consent and legal-page functionality;
- Kit for email subscriptions and newsletter delivery;
- ConvertBox for forms and application experiences;
- KiwiLaunch for service listings, scheduling, and booking;
- Stripe for payment processing; and
- SkillPlate for course access and learning experiences.
We may also use website hosting, security, email, video-meeting, file-storage, and other operational providers. We share information only as reasonably necessary for those providers to perform their services, protect the Service, or comply with law.
Payments
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe, sometimes through a booking or course platform. Initial Finds does not directly store your complete payment-card number. Payment providers may collect payment details, billing information, fraud-prevention signals, and transaction data under their own privacy policies.
When Information May Be Disclosed
We may disclose information to service providers as described above; when required by law, subpoena, court order, or lawful government request; to protect the rights, safety, and security of Initial Finds, our users, or others; or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of business assets, subject to appropriate protections.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define consent-based advertising measurement as “sharing” or targeted advertising. You may disable that category through the cookie preferences control.
Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing requested services, maintaining business and transaction records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the provider involved. When information is no longer reasonably needed, we take steps to delete, anonymize, or securely retain it as required by law.
Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. These rights may be subject to verification and legal exceptions.

- Use the website’s cookie preferences control to change optional tracking choices.
- Contact us to make a privacy request concerning information controlled by Initial Finds.
Information controlled directly by another platform may also need to be managed through that provider.
International Processing
Initial Finds and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Privacy protections may differ from those in your location. Where required, providers use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Links and Third-Party Services
The Service may link to or embed websites and services that Initial Finds does not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review those policies before providing information.
Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service, our providers, or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date will change. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service when appropriate.
