FOUND — the weekly letter from Initial Finds

FOUND is a weekly letter about seeing your life clearly — honest, quiet, and free. One letter a week from Initial Finds.

A weekly letter about seeing clearly — your life, your work, and the story you have been handed about both.

Most advice about your life arrives loud. FOUND does not. It is one letter, most weeks, written for the person who is doing fine by every visible measure and quietly knows something is off.

What arrives

Short enough to read on a break. Written by hand, not assembled from a content calendar. Usually one of these:

  • Something honest about the distance between the performance and the person
  • A piece of language that makes a familiar problem easier to name
  • One practical move — the kind you can make on an ordinary Tuesday, not the kind that needs a free weekend

What it is not

Not a productivity newsletter. Not a daily habit to keep up with. Not a runway to a pitch. If a week holds nothing worth saying, nothing gets sent.

Who it is for

You do not need a crisis to belong here. The career works. The routine holds. And underneath it there is a friction you have stopped explaining to people. That is the reader this is written for.

Replies come straight to me. That is the whole community at this point, and it is the part I would keep if I had to choose.

One letter a week. Leave whenever it stops serving you.

Where It Fits

FOUND is the ongoing version of the work mapped out in the Initial Finds Framework. The framework gives you the shape of the road — the 180° Reset, the 360° Realignment, the 720° Expansion. The letter is what keeps you walking it, one week at a time.

If you want the language this work runs on, it lives in the glossary — terms like the Tuesday Test and the Honest Inventory started as lines in a letter.
