Definition
Universal laws are the principles people use to describe how life and energy work: attraction, reciprocity, cause and effect, rhythm and others.
At Initial Finds, they’re seen as describing God’s creation, not replacing God. Understanding them matters. The aim is to live them in flow, not to keep defining them.
Why It Matters
The laws work whether we understand them or not. A tree doesn’t need the system explained to grow. People are the ones who step outside the flow, usually through identity: who they think they should be, and what they think should happen.
What Most People Get Wrong
Treating the laws like magic. Repeat an affirmation a hundred times and wait. When nothing shows up, the laws seem false. But no law works alone. Attraction without reciprocity is just wanting, and the laws were never a promise that hard things won’t happen.
In Practice
Gratitude for what’s already here. Your own state, not other people’s opinions. Steady work on yourself: what you eat, how you move, who you’re around.
Then belief that follows action: if you’re already working toward it, you’re already doing it. The simplest check is one question. Can you be present, thankful and happy in this moment, even if nothing else goes your way?

How many universal laws are there?
Most modern lists name 12, plus a ’bonus’ law of resonance. The seven Hermetic principles come from The Kybalion (1908). No one agrees on a number, and the number matters less than living them.
Is the law of attraction a universal law?
It’s usually listed as one. At Initial Finds it’s seen as one law among many, and it doesn’t work without reciprocity: what you sow, you reap.
Do universal laws replace God?
Not in this view. The laws describe how God’s creation works. They don’t replace the One who made it.
